| YARD MAINTENANCE SIGN-UP The Property Committee is seeking individuals to do yard maintenance for 2012. We need six teams of five to six volunteers. Each team will be performing yard maintenance on a six week rotation. It is anticipated that the time frame will be from April thru November. (Time frame may change due to weather and plant growth.) Each team will be responsible for cutting grass, weed eating, edging and blowing off the sidewalks. The maintenance is to be performed either Friday or Saturday to ensure the grounds are groomed for Sunday church activities. The Property Committee members will not be participating on teams as their priorities will be with the inside of the church building itself. Other yard maintenance will be coordinated through the Properties Committee utilizing the team members such as weeding flower beds, trimming shrubs, etc... Our church needs you to assist in this budget cutting effort. We need this plan in place by mid-February to develop team assignments. By singing up it is assumed that you are making a commitment to be a dependable supporter throughout the specified time frame. | CALLING ALL LADIES The Ladies Ministry Team is sponsoring a Jewelry Workshop on February 23, in rooms 202 and 204. The cost is $10 per person to cover the materials. Each participant will make a bracelet or necklace and earrings. No previous experience is needed. The workshop will run from 7 to 9 pm. Sign ups will begin this Sunday after church in the commons table. Please come for the fellowship and fun. |
